Duration: 2 Days

Day 1 : Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda - Duong Lam ancient village (L.D)

8:00, Hotel pick-up, head to Perfume Pagoda – the most beautiful site under Southern Sky.

Arriving at the Yen Vi Pier, enjoy a beautiful sampan ride following the meanders of the Yen Vi River through peaceful rice fields dominated by rugged karst hills.

Visit Thien Tru Pagoda. Then you take the cable cars to the Huong Tich Cave through fabulous landscapes.

Cable car back at your own cost or if you choose to go back on foot, you will be able to visit others pagoda such as: Hinh Bong Pagoda, Tien Son Pagoda and Giai Oan Pagoda.

Return to the pier and drive to the Duong Lam ancient village which is a charming historical village. It is famous for its well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and offers a glimpse into rural life as it existed hundreds of years ago. This village has been recognized as a National Cultural Heritage site

Upon arrival, check in homestay and overnight in Duong Lam.

 

Day 2: Duong Lam Ancient Village - Van Phuc Silk Village - Hanoi (B.L)

After breakfast, then we walk in the village to visit:

Mong Phu Communal House: built in the 17th century, it serves as the heart of the village's cultural activities.

Two Kings Temples: Dedicated to Phung Hung (a national hero) and Ngo Quyen (who defeated the Southern Han and declared Vietnamese independence in 938).

Mia pagoda is known for its serene atmosphere and exquisite architecture, the pagoda is an essential stop for anyone visiting the area

Also, you can engage with locals, learn about traditional farming methods, and participate in making rice cakes or soy sauce

Finally, drive back to Hanoi with the stop at Van Phuc Silk Village which is a renowned craft village. With a history spanning over 1,000 years, it is one of the oldest silk-weaving villages in Vietnam and a prime destination for those interested in traditional craftsmanship and Vietnamese culture.
