Day 01: Lao Cai - Muong Hum Market - Y Ty

Arrive in Lao Cai, check in at the hotel near the train station to refresh yourself: shower, rest and breakfast. Then, leave early in the morning to discover the weekly market Muong Hum which is held every Sunday morning. The Muong Hum Weekly Market is not only a place for trade but also a meeting place for ethnic groups after a week of intensive work. At the market, you meet different ethnic groups who sell or buy their local products and their annimals ... Then drive to Y Ty by the mountain road filled with grandiose landscapes and arrived at Y Ty around noon, installation at Y Ty Lodge and lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon walks in the H'mong and Ha Nhi ethnic villages around Y Ty Lodge which are still intact by the tourists. Overnight at Y Ty Lodge.

Day 02: Y Ty - Ascent to Mount Lao Than

Breakfast at Y Ty Lodge. Transfer to the point of ascension and then climb a small track that crosses the fabulous landscapes: various flowers, cardamines, forests and rocks ... Picnic lunch. Then continue climbing until 2600m that allows you to enjoy the famous sunset (if the weather is nice) and overnight at the tent.

Day 03: Lao Than Mountain - Y Ty - Lao Cai - Hanoi

Wake early in the morning to contemplate the sunrise and the oceans of clouds that are like a masterpiece of nature. Breakfast at our tent then descent to Y Ty through the fabulous scenery. Arrival at Y Ty around noon, lunch at a local restaurant and afternoon, visit Lao Chai village, ethnic group of Ha Nhi and visit their traditional mud-brick houses. Then transfer to Lao Cai train station to take the night train to Hanoi or departure to another destination.
